Ulysse Nardin Executive Skeleton Tourbillon Stars & Stripes
A limited edition of only 50 units was created to mark the jubilee of a collaboration between Ulysse Nardin and the US Navy, for which they produce navigation devices. The American flag serves as the basis for the design, with 13 alternating white and red stripes and 50 stars on a deep blue background, with each of the 50 watches dedicated to one of the 50 states of the United States. The watch was appropriately launched on July 4th, American Independence Day. The case is made of titanium, with a blue bezel 45mm in diameter. Sapphire crystals cover the front and back. Water resistance: up to 30 meters. The caliber is from Ulysse Nardin, with manual winding and a seven-day power reserve. To withstand strong magnetic fields, its escapement and balance wheel are made of silicon. The minimalist dial exposes the caliber, and stylized Roman numerals provide the time indication. Price: $50,000.
