Arturo Fuente – Fuente Fuente OpusX “The Lost City”
Few cigars offer not only a rich and complex smoking experience, but also a fascinating story rooted in cinema, agriculture, and philanthropy. One such cigar is the Arturo Fuente OpusX “The Lost City”—a rare and highly acclaimed creation born from an unexpected collaboration between actor and filmmaker Andy García and legendary cigar maker Carlos “Carlito” Fuente Jr.
In 2005, García was filming his passion project, The Lost City, and required lush green tobacco fields for several scenes, despite it being outside the traditional growing season. To make this possible, Carlito Fuente planted a special summer crop at the Fuente estate in the Dominican Republic. The result was a unique tobacco harvest that was aged for five years before becoming the foundation of this exceptional cigar line.
A true Dominican puro, The Lost City delivers a medium-to-full-bodied profile with remarkable depth and refinement. Smokers can expect layers of sweet spices, caramel, raisins, roasted nuts, espresso, cedar, and earthy undertones. It is a luxurious and evolving cigar that reveals new nuances with every draw.
The line is available in several classic vitolas, including Robusto, Double Robusto, Pirámide, Toro, Lancero, and Carlito’s A, some of which are produced in extremely limited quantities.
Beyond its smoking experience, The Lost City also carries a philanthropic mission. A portion of the proceeds supports charitable foundations dedicated to improving living conditions, healthcare, and education in local communities.
Whether you are a collector, a lover of rare cigars, or simply seeking an extraordinary smoking experience, Fuente Fuente OpusX “The Lost City” is far more than just another cigar. It is a statement, a story, and a tribute to passion, craftsmanship, and excellence at the highest level.
