The Cuban cigar brand Bolívar was born in 1902 and is named after the South American general and leader, Simón Bolívar, whose nickname was “El Libertador” (The Liberator). Just like his strong personality, the cigars bearing his name are rich in bold flavors and aromatic depth. They are made from the finest tobacco leaves of the Vuelta Abajo region in Pinar del Río, the world’s best tobacco-growing area.
The cigar in the Petit Corona vitola (factory name: Londres), sized at 5 x 40, with a box-pressed shape, offers a medium strength, refined profile, with a silky, oily wrapper. It delivers flavors of spices, nuts, and leather. It is presented in a wooden box containing 25 cigars.
