Audemars Piguet’s new chronograph, a limited and surprising edition of just 500 pieces, brings the aesthetics of the past into the present. This timepiece reinterprets the brand’s rare chronographs from the distant past with a modern twist. The core houses the brand’s most innovative technology, while the classic dial perfectly embodies the clean look of a modern-classic watch.
Between 1930 and 1950, Audemars Piguet produced only 307 original chronographs, making this the first time the manufacturer has paid such a tribute to its heritage. The 40mm case is crafted from a combination of stainless steel and pink gold, featuring a champagne-colored dial. The case’s ultra-thin bezel accentuates the dial and hands. The movement is self-winding with a 70-hour power reserve. A brown calfskin leather strap completes the elegant, classic look. Price: $54,000.
