The cap ring features Aurora’s historic logo surrounded by Greek-inspired decorative motifs. Each pen is finished by hand, with subtle polishing techniques that enhance its golden appearance and create elegant reflections across its surface.
Italian writing instrument manufacturer Aurora, founded in Turin in 1919, takes us back to the glamour of the 1930s with the elegant Aurora Optima Riflessi Black and Gold fountain pen, inspired by the historic Optima collection of that era.
The pen’s barrel is crafted from high-quality black resin, while the cap is made of solid 18-karat gold and decorated with an intricate diamond-pattern guilloché engraving.
The cap ring bears Aurora’s historic logo, framed by Greek-inspired decorative motifs. Each pen is meticulously finished by hand, including delicate polishing that gives the gold a distinctive brilliance and creates captivating reflections across its surface.
The 18-karat gold nib is engraved with ornate Baroque-inspired motifs, reinforcing the pen’s classical Italian character.
The Aurora Optima Riflessi Black and Gold features a piston-filling mechanism with a reserve ink tank, allowing the writer to continue using the pen even after the main ink supply has been depleted.
With its combination of Italian craftsmanship, precious materials and historical design references, the Optima Riflessi Black and Gold transforms a writing instrument into a celebration of Aurora’s heritage.
