In late 2022, the Dutch shipyard Van Der Valk launched the Blue Jeans, a superyacht measuring approximately 33.7 meters. True to its name, the dominant color of this yacht is blue. The blue hue of the aluminum hull was custom-developed to meet the owner’s specifications. Additionally, the yacht features glass elements designed to mimic windows while concealing some of the transitions. In a uniquely thoughtful design choice, the yacht’s exterior avoids standard white surfaces, opting instead for a combination of silver-gray panels and glass.
The Blue Jeans is distinguished by exceptionally high ceilings in its interior, rising to about 2.5 meters in the salon, and includes impressive lighting effects.

The exterior space is relatively spacious, thanks in part to the use of anchors concealed within the raised bow, as well as flexible elements such as a liftable table and a retractable diving platform. The yacht’s design incorporates a range of materials, some of which are quite rare in the realm of marine vessels. The interior space blends design elements characteristic of Northern Europe and Asia, including a variety of materials such as metals, wood, natural stones, and marble.

The Blue Jeans is powered by twin MTU engines, reaching a top speed of approximately 22.4 knots. It accommodates up to eight guests and four crew members. Guests can enjoy a spacious salon with a bar, three seating areas, and a dining nook in the bow, which features a captain’s table that can also serve as a game table. On the lower deck, there is a roomy master suite, a VIP suite, and two guest cabins.
