The Mistral is a powerful western wind with gusts reaching 150 km/h. The Mistral wind blows in the south of France, and Bugatti gave this name to a model with a 16-liter, 16V engine. The Mistral 16W will be the last Bugatti based on an internal combustion engine without electric assistance. The next models will be electric and will be based on the advanced technology of the Croatian company Rimac.
