Montegrappa Anytime by Paolo Favaretto Supremo: A Timeless Classic
The noble-looking Montegrappa Anytime by Paolo Favaretto Supremo is the result of a design by Venetian architect and industrial designer Paolo Favaretto, who for more than five decades has shaped a wide range of products—from furniture and lighting to, now, fine writing instruments. This pen combines aesthetic restraint with mechanical sophistication.
Its defining feature is a perpetual calendar mechanism ingeniously integrated into the cap, with three enamel-filled dials displaying the date, day, and month. The enamel ensures exceptional legibility, while the tactile operation echoes the satisfying feel of a piston-filling mechanism.
Produced as a limited edition of 365 pieces, the series includes both rollerballs and fountain pens, offered in two versions: Maestro, crafted from raw black Delrin and stainless steel, and Supremo, made of glossy burgundy resin with gold-plated brass accents. All versions are fitted with an 18k gold nib and a piston-filling system, and are presented in a thoughtfully designed box, color-matched to the pen and also conceived by Favaretto.
Fountain pen price: approximately €2,900.
