The American artist David Oscarson is renowned for his original pen designs, which he has been producing in limited editions since 2000. His 36th limited edition, “Take it to the Limit,” features six color variations of fountain pens and rollerball pens, with only 100 units of each type available worldwide.
These pens are meticulously crafted from sterling silver using traditional techniques such as guilloché engraving and the application of hard enamel. The designs pay homage to the world of automobiles and driving, incorporating elements such as a gear shift motif on the cap’s top, various gauges (including speedometer, fuel gauge, and engine temperature display) on the barrel, a clip shaped like an elongated piston, and more.
The pen pictured here is priced at approximately $6,300, a testament to its craftsmanship and exclusivity.
