When McLaren set out to develop the successor to the 720, the British marque chose not to engage in the horsepower wars—an unwinnable battle in the electric age. Instead, it focused on weight reduction and aerodynamic enhancements while retaining rear-wheel drive to deliver an exhilarating driving experience for those who can handle a ballistic missile on wheels.
The 750S packs 740 horsepower and a breathtaking design, available in both coupe and Spider configurations. It is approximately 35 kg lighter than the 720, with a third of its components being entirely new. Powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, it’s essentially a track car with a license plate.
