In the past, we have seen watch cases made of transparent sapphire, but this Big Bang is completely transparent, including the case, dial, strap, and even the tourbillon. Sapphire is an extremely hard material, but also very brittle, and while in most industries these properties are not positive, in the watch world they open up opportunities to create new things. The processing of sapphire has advanced to a level where Hublot can color it in different shades, and now they have taken another step forward, with the creation of components in the caliber. The case measures 45mm in width and 14.2mm in height, and is water-resistant to 30 meters. The caliber features manual winding, a power reserve of 115 hours, and includes a tourbillon. The transparent rubber strap, with a titanium clasp, holds the watch on the wrist. A limited production edition, with only 99 units available. Price: $148,000.
