Partagás Origen Maestra
At the Habanos Festival held in Cuba in 2023, Partagás unveiled its ultra-premium Línea Maestra series. The entire line is crafted exclusively from tobacco grown in San Luis, located in the famed Vuelta Abajo region—widely regarded as the finest tobacco-growing area in the world. The series comprises three vitolas: Origen, Rito, and Maestro, with the Origen dedicated to the very roots of Cuba’s exceptional tobacco heritage.
The Partagás Origen Maestra is a slender and elegant cigar measuring 6⅛ inches with a 46-ring gauge, delivering a classic Cuban smoking experience refined yet powerful, with a rich and evolving flavor profile. The opening reveals notes of leather, wood, and earth, accompanied by a delicate creamy sweetness. As the cigar develops, flavors of espresso, dark chocolate, and black pepper emerge. The finish is long and complex, highlighted by hints of roasted nuts and a well-balanced spice.
Like the other cigars in the Línea Maestra collection, the Origen is adorned with a luxurious blue band and an additional foot band, reflecting its premium status. It is presented in an elegant blue lacquered box containing 20 cigars, making it a standout addition to any discerning aficionado’s humidor.
