This is one of the most stunning yachts at first sight, largely due to its intricate structure, which is achieved through the use of carbon fibers in its construction. The composite material, typically found in aircraft and exotic cars, stretches here over 49 meters in length and a maximum width of about 11 meters. There is a lot of carbon (carbon fiber) in it. The yacht was created by the Palmer Johnson shipyard and was the first in their Super Sport series to be made from this exotic material.
The Khalilah has a top speed of 26 knots (48 km/h) and an economical cruising speed of 15 knots, which allows it to cross oceans without refueling. Power comes from two powerful turbo-diesel engines, each producing 2,000 horsepower.
Up to 11 guests can be accommodated on board, in five different guest rooms – two of them are real suites, bright, with large floor-to-ceiling windows. The living spaces are extremely luxurious and include teak wood furnishings. The room design is super modern and was done by Palmer Johnson’s in-house designers, who made extensive use of light tones with a touch of Asian motifs.
The exterior design is uncompromising, especially noticeable in the special hull designed to slice through the waves, and in the sporty upper structure, which exudes speed. The rear area is open and allows for pleasant outdoor living under the sky and is a wonderful place to barbecue. And if you love it – a special shade of gold not only envelops the yacht itself but also the accompanying motorboat.
