Plasencia Cosecha 151 La Tradición Toro
The Plasencia family has cultivated tobacco and crafted cigars for more than 160 years, a tradition dating back to 1865. Beginning in Cuba and later expanding to Honduras and Nicaragua, the family has successfully combined time-honored growing methods with innovation in tobacco cultivation.
The Cosecha series (“harvest” in Spanish) pays tribute to the family’s legacy, with each release dedicated to a specific tobacco harvest. Thus, Cosecha 146 featured tobacco from the 2012 harvest, Cosecha 149 showcased the 2014 harvest, and Cosecha 151 celebrates the family’s 151st harvest, from 2016.
The La Tradición Toro (5⅞ x 54) is a genuine Honduran puro, with every component sourced from Plasencia’s tobacco farms in Honduras. Its refined Olancho San Agustín wrapper is similar to that used in the previous release in the series, though from a different harvest and a lower priming position on the tobacco plant. This medium-to-full-bodied cigar delivers rich notes of roasted coffee, pecans, and dark chocolate.
It comes in an elegant black box accented with gold detailing, containing ten cigars. Price: ₪117 per cigar.
