The Porsche 356 became a legend in its own right, but in its early days, many customers found it a bit too minimalist for their taste. Porsche’s answer came through coachbuilder Drauz, who crafted a more refined open-top body featuring a taller windshield, roll-up side windows, a folding soft top, and luxurious leather upholstery throughout the cabin.
Over time, this version—known as the Convertible D—became the rarest of them all, with just 1,330 units produced, accounting for less than a quarter of all 356 variants ever built.
Under the rear decklid sits a 1.5-liter flat-four boxer engine producing 75 horsepower, sending power to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual gearbox.
Price: $171,000.
