From a distance, kilometers away in the background, the two pagoda-like towers stand out to the approaching eye. They rise atop the oldest distillery building in Scotland, which began operations in 1786. The distillery, which over the years came under the ownership of the Chivas family, renowned producers of Chivas whisky, was recently renovated, yet continues to serve as a historic symbol of generations of exceptional whisky makers.
Strathisla Distillery is located in the Speyside region, one of the finest whisky-producing areas in Scotland and the most famous. The clear water essential to the whisky-making process is sourced from the nearby Broomhill Spring.
The distillery produces approximately four million liters of whisky annually, at various stages of production. Each whisky undergoes an aging process in barrels from various sources, most of which are made of American white oak, old bourbon casks, and other sources kept as a professional secret of the distillery.

Tasting: Chivas Regal 18 Year Gold Signature. A blended whisky with a deep amber hue, offering aromas of mocha and orange peel. It has a full body, perfectly balanced, with rich notes of vanilla and dark chocolate, all enveloped in a hint of roasted oak spice, a touch of smoke, and a long, sweet finish. The perfect companion for a fine cigar.
