The Pineider Psycho Fountain Pen is handcrafted in Pineider’s Florence workshop using traditional Italian techniques known as Florentine finish, which involves creating tiny engraved lines on gold jewelry, watches, furniture, lighting fixtures, and writing instruments. In terms of materials, Pineider adheres to Italian traditions typically reserved for the jewelry world, utilizing precious or semi-precious metals, particularly thick plating, and the “lost wax method” (a technique used in sculpture and jewelry-making where a wax model of the object is replaced with a metal version).
This pen, produced in a very limited edition of only 88 units, is available in three models distinguished by the color of the decorations: rose gold, yellow gold, or palladium (a white metal resembling platinum). The pen’s design is created using a high-pressure nano-fusion casting technique, with the semi-transparent weaving on the body and cap providing a modern artistic appearance. The nib of the pen is made from 14-carat pure gold. A similar ballpoint pen model is also available.
The pen is presented in a luxurious handcrafted case, including high-quality stationery from the company and an inkwell. The pen can be filled with ink using a standard ink cartridge. Price: €2,530.
