Voutilainen Vingt-8. Finnish Pride
The esteemed Finnish creator Kari Voutilainen produces only about 50 pieces per year from his workshop in Switzerland. He designs, builds, creates, and assembles every watch entirely by himself. This includes the special dials seen in the image, which are made using traditional processes, including hand engraving and unique enamel work.
Even the most snobbish Swiss watchmaking experts define the quality of Voutilainen’s creations as standing out above all others. One of the first watches he presented features an 18-carat gold case, a caliber with two barrels that improve the accuracy of the watch, and of course, a mesmerizing dial with flawless execution. The price: $85,000.
