The Waldmann Legacy One, as its name suggests, celebrates the heritage of Waldmann, a German writing instrument manufacturer founded in 1918 in Pforzheim, the country’s traditional jewelry-making capital, located on the edge of the Black Forest.
For more than a century, Waldmann has specialized in creating fine writing instruments from precious metals, combining traditional craftsmanship with elaborate decorative techniques.
Among these is the distinctive “Viennese pattern”, an intricate engraving technique in which each individual piece is meticulously engraved by hand. Today, this demanding craft is practiced by only a small number of highly skilled master engravers around the world.
On the Legacy One, this craftsmanship is particularly striking on the cap, which is entirely hand-engraved with decorative elements inspired by the Black Forest and Waldmann’s German heritage.
The pen also incorporates 925 sterling silver, one of Waldmann’s signature materials. Beyond its luxurious appearance, the precious metal gives the writing instrument its distinctive brilliance, durability and refined tactile quality.
With its combination of precious materials, traditional engraving and more than a century of German craftsmanship, the Waldmann Legacy One is both a luxury writing instrument and a celebration of the heritage behind the Waldmann name.
Price: approximately €5,350.
