Flor de Selva Año de la Serpiente
Each year, the Honduran cigar brand Maya Selva Cigars releases a special edition dedicated to the Chinese zodiac. According to the Chinese calendar, 2025 is the Year of the Snake, a symbol of wisdom, elegance, and sophistication—qualities that are beautifully reflected in the Flor de Selva Año de la Serpiente.
Presented in a Pyramid vitola (6 1/8 x 52), the cigar is adorned with three striking bands. The upper band features the brand’s logo, while the center band displays the inscription “Año de la Serpiente” (“Year of the Snake”) in red. The lower band is a true work of art, showcasing a gold-and-red snake coiling around the cigar, with the number 2025 incorporated into its tail.
A dark, silky Honduran wrapper, combined with Honduran and Nicaraguan binder and fillers, creates a cigar that is as impressive in construction as it is in appearance. The smoking experience delivers a balanced medium-to-full-bodied profile with notes of cedar, dry spices, earth, and bitter cocoa.
