Jaguar XK 120 Roadster – the finest of its era was, in the early 1950s, the manufacturer’s most successful sports model. It was considered one of the best sports cars of its time, thanks to a series of speed records, and took part in some of the most prestigious car races, such as the Mille Miglia. During initial test drives, a speed of 209 km/h was recorded – a figure that was unimaginable at the time. This speed was achieved due to the combination of a strong steel-tube chassis, with an independent front suspension and a solid rear axle, along with engine power from a 3.4-liter, six-cylinder engine that produced over 200 horsepower in the later production series. Price: $150,000.
