Bond’s Aston Martin DB6 Reborn as a Stunning Electric Classic
The Aston Martin DB6 replaced the famous DB5 driven by James Bond in Goldfinger. Lunaz has transformed this classic car into a fully electric masterpiece. It looks almost the same as Bond’s car, except without the ejector seats and a few minor changes. This DB6 combines classic British style with modern electric power.
Lunaz calls their conversion “the perfect mix of timeless design and future-ready technology.” The sleek coupé shape stays true to the original, while the car now runs on clean, strong electric power.
This limited edition comes in both right- and left-hand drive models, starting at around $1 million. Each car undergoes a full restoration. The old paint is stripped down to bare metal. The brakes and steering are upgraded for better performance. Still, Lunaz keeps the classic look outside and inside. The electric gauges blend into the vintage dashboard to keep the original style. They also added air conditioning, which was rare in the 1960s. The leather seats feel like a private club, but there are also synthetic leather options for eco-friendly buyers.
Exact power numbers are not released yet. But the DB6 electric can travel over 400 km on a full charge. That’s plenty of range for a high-speed chase after Auric Goldfinger.
In short: The Lunaz DB6 is a perfect electric classic for collectors and retired spies alike.
Price: The electric conversion and restoration cost £765,000. Original DB6 cars cost about £250,000.
