Silent Yachts unveils the Silent 62 Tri-Deck at Cannes: a three-deck solar-electric catamaran with 6 cabins, customizable sky deck, and near-silent cruising.

Unveiled at the Cannes Yachting Festival, the Silent 62 Tri-Deck is an all-electric catamaran yacht built by Australia’s Silent Yachts. It’s one of the brand’s most intriguing new models—especially given the company’s recent financial turbulence. Silent Yachts was acquired by German-American investor Michael Said, a customer of the shipyard himself, who chose to revive the builder and steer it into a new chapter.

As its name suggests, the yacht features three decks—marking the first time the company has produced a vessel in this configuration. Overall length is approximately 19 meters, with a beam of about 9 meters. The concept is simple and compelling: deliver the quietest cruising experience possible with minimal emissions, thanks to electric propulsion paired with advanced solar technology.

The Silent 62 Tri-Deck draws inspiration from the brand’s flagship Silent 80 3-Deck—though the builder has added roughly 0.6 meters in length in this new model. Accommodation includes six cabins for up to 12 guests. The layout is designed so the main salon opens directly onto the central deck, creating an easy indoor-outdoor flow.

Inside, the atmosphere is bright and spacious, built around a generous leisure area: a sunlit salon with large windows, a drinks bar, an open-plan galley, and a dining space comfortably seating 10 to 12 people.

Instead of a traditional flybridge, this model offers a customizable third deck, available in one of three configurations: an open Sky Lounge, an enclosed Sky Lounge, or an Owner’s Suite.

Bottom line: quiet, efficient, and genuinely green-minded.
Price: around €5.6 million.
