For years, Zuccardi has enjoyed worldwide acclaim, earning recognition from the most respected wine critics across the globe. Its Malbec has become the benchmark against which all great Malbecs are measured.

Across what seems like an endless expanse of vineyards, perfectly aligned rows of vines stand at attention against the breathtaking backdrop of the snow-capped Andes. Rising from this dramatic landscape is Zuccardi Winery, named The World’s Best Vineyard 2021, its ultra-modern architecture standing in striking contrast to its surroundings. Square stone walls embrace a dome-shaped gray structure reminiscent of an ancient place of worship. Inside, one of South America’s most advanced wineries houses circular concrete fermentation vats alongside hundreds of oak barrels in a variety of sizes.

Although Malbec originated in southwestern France, it was in Argentina—particularly in the Mendoza region—that the grape achieved its highest expression and international prestige. Mendoza is to Argentina what Bordeaux is to France. And just as Cabernet Sauvignon defines Bordeaux, Malbec defines Mendoza.

For many years, Zuccardi has consistently earned worldwide recognition from leading wine critics. In truth, if you have ever tasted a Mendoza Malbec from Zuccardi, you have experienced the standard by which all great Malbecs should be judged.

Zuccardi Finca Piedra Infinita 2016

The 2016 vintage of Finca Piedra Infinita Malbec has received outstanding praise from professional critics around the world, including the coveted 100-point score from Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate. Deep violet in color, the wine is powerful yet remarkably balanced. Dry, though never austere, it reveals an intricate bouquet of cherries, pomegranate, raspberries, and exotic oriental spices. Its finish is exceptionally long and unforgettable.
