Bugatti Bolide
In December 2025, Bugatti reached yet another milestone when the final Bolide rolled off the production line. While the marque still has several exotic projects and bespoke creations in development, there is currently only one truly wild and uncompromising machine in its lineup—the Bugatti Bolide.
Production of the Bolide was limited to just 40 units, with the first customer cars delivered in early 2024. Traditionally, the last example of a Bugatti production run features some unique distinction, but this time the French manufacturer broke with tradition. The final Bolide is mechanically identical to the others, although its owner—a Swiss collector and longtime friend of the brand—commissioned it in a vintage-inspired color scheme matching his nearly century-old Bugatti Type 35. Incidentally, this is not the first time this particular client has drawn inspiration from the legendary Type 35, a detail that will undoubtedly enhance the car’s future collectability.
The Bolide is, without question, the most powerful hypercar Bugatti has ever built. It is not road legal and was designed with one purpose only: helping its owner set new personal records every time it takes to the track. And it accomplishes that mission thanks to Bugatti’s monstrous 8.0-liter quad-turbocharged W16 engine, producing an astonishing 1,578 horsepower.
