Domaine de la Zouina, Morocco
Two French wine professionals, Gérard Gribelin and Philippe Gervoson, both owners of vineyards and wineries in Bordeaux, decided in 2002 to produce world-class wines in Morocco. To achieve this, they revitalized the vineyards and equipped the winery in Meknes with modern winemaking technology. Today, the estate’s vineyards span approximately 850 hectares (8,500 dunams), producing high-quality grapes that are crafted into wines consistently receiving excellent ratings.
Although Morocco is often associated with hot and humid weather, Domaine de la Zouina’s vineyards benefit from a far more temperate climate, with warm summers and very cold winters that occasionally bring snowfall. The winery itself, housed in a beautifully preserved 1930s colonial building, reflects its French heritage throughout every stage of production—from vineyard management and careful varietal selection to Bordeaux-inspired viticulture practices and meticulous hand care of every individual vine.
Volubilia Gris

A dry white wine with an almost colorless appearance, crafted from a blend of Mourvèdre, Marselan, and Caladoc. The wine undergoes a brief four-month maturation, resulting in an expressive bouquet filled with ripe citrus aromas, including grapefruit zest, lime, and orange, complemented by delicate notes of lychee.
Smooth and crisp, with a light to medium body, it offers well-balanced acidity and excellent harmony. The finish is elegant, refined, and subtly sweet.
Recommended serving temperature: 6–8°C (43–46°F).
