For over 130 years, what began as a small workshop by master carpenter Karl Gerber has evolved into a renowned international company specializing in wood products, particularly advanced humidor cabinets. Based in Duisburg, in northwestern Germany, Gerber has maintained a tradition of quality, handcrafted creations for five generations, utilizing advanced tools while adhering strictly to the company’s philosophy: “Success and stability are achieved only through endless dedication, love of the craft, business courage, and forward thinking.”

In practice, Gerber is highly attuned to the needs of cigar enthusiasts, a fact epitomized by their flagship product, aptly named Number One. The C-Flex system, featuring specially designed cedarwood shelves and pins, allows for maximum flexibility in arranging both individual cigars and boxes, as not all cigars are created in the same sizes. The advanced and sophisticated Fresh Air ventilation system ensures uniform humidity and clean air throughout the humidor. Mobile shelf units, along with their exclusive LED lighting, guarantee a proper display for stored cigars.

Even the key for locking the humidor is a work of art in itself, made from luxurious wood and sterling silver with an engraving of the humidor owner’s name. A touch screen placed on a premium stand beside the humidor provides the ability to view internal climate data and full historical statistics, change settings, and connect to a mobile app that allows you to monitor and control all your humidor’s data from anywhere in the world. The humidor is available in a variety of color choices, including unique wood tones, black, or even pink.

Bottom line: Classic, well-equipped, luxurious, with a forward-looking perspective.

There’s no denying that the humidor is an essential accessory for every cigar enthusiast. One can choose its size according to its intended use, and its design to match their personal taste. And when it comes to personal preferences, the possibilities are virtually endless. For over seven years, we've been following the brilliant—quite literally—creations of Richard Solloshi, founder and owner of Solloshi Design. His passion for working with premium materials such as Grade 5 titanium and 7075 aluminum alloy—commonly used in the aerospace industry—combined with his love for the world of cigars, has resulted in a series of exceptional accessories, remarkable in both beauty and originality. But above all, what truly sets Solloshi apart is his ability to envision and craft unconventional designs—reimagining, and in many ways, reinventing the wheel. Thus was born the Rotary Humidor — a sophisticated piece unlike any other, destined to draw attention and spark conversation wherever it is placed — be it a luxury office, a boardroom, or a private lounge at home. This circular humidor measures half a meter in diameter and weighs approximately 12 kilograms, crafted from an aluminum-titanium alloy. It holds a place of honor for 12 cigars, each stored in its own dedicated NACO-coated tube. These tubes are arranged around the rotary humidor and connected to a professional humidity system by the German makers Wempe. Adding to its unique allure, beyond the diamond inlays on its top, the humidor elegantly rotates around its axis, mimicking the spin of a roulette wheel. This playful element lets you select a cigar in style — simply stop the rotation on a chosen tube and reveal which cigar fate has assigned you. The humidor is produced in a limited edition of just 35 pieces. Bottom line: Watch the wheel spin… and settle on a perfectly preserved cigar. Price: €30,000
