The Hurricane cigar cutter, designed as a folding knife-style cutter (a popular cigar cutting method in the United States), is an exotic piece that embodies the distinctive, high-end elements characteristic of the William Henry brand.

William Henry is an American brand dedicated to crafting extraordinary collectible pieces and personal accessories that reflect the unique taste and personality of their owners. Their special editions feature increasingly rare materials, such as teak wood salvaged from the USS California BB-44 — a battleship that survived the attack on Pearl Harbor and served until the end of World War II. Another remarkable example is fossilized bone from a 100-million-year-old Apatosaurus discovered in Utah, USA. Owning a piece incorporating this material means possessing a fragment of some of the earliest zoological evidence in the world (!).

Beyond the rare raw materials, William Henry’s artisans employ specialized processing techniques to create distinctive textures and finishes, elevating each piece into a true work of art.

The Hurricane cigar cutter, designed in the folding knife style (a popular cigar cutting method in the United States), is an exotic piece that embodies the signature elements defining the William Henry brand. Its frame is crafted from Mokume-gane — a traditional Japanese metalworking technique that creates layered patterns resembling wood grain, sometimes with a rugged texture — handcrafted by artisan Mike Sakmar.

The blade is made of Damascus steel, forged through a lengthy manual process combining three alloys into a blade with optimal hardness (HRC 59) for exceptional edge retention and durability. This process was overseen by one of the most respected experts in the field, Chad Nichols.

The body of the cutter is crafted from an exceptionally rare material: a polished, fossilized woolly mammoth tusk estimated to be around 10,000 years old, sourced from Alaska or Siberia. This exquisite centerpiece shines with a subtle, hand-polished luster.

The cutter’s opening is designed to accommodate cigars up to 52 ring gauge. The overall aesthetic is completed with refined details such as citrine stones, titanium, and stainless steel accents. Production is strictly limited to just 500 pieces worldwide.

Bottom line: This cutter is built to last thousands of years, just like the ancient material from which it’s made.

There’s no denying that the humidor is an essential accessory for every cigar enthusiast. One can choose its size according to its intended use, and its design to match their personal taste. And when it comes to personal preferences, the possibilities are virtually endless. For over seven years, we've been following the brilliant—quite literally—creations of Richard Solloshi, founder and owner of Solloshi Design. His passion for working with premium materials such as Grade 5 titanium and 7075 aluminum alloy—commonly used in the aerospace industry—combined with his love for the world of cigars, has resulted in a series of exceptional accessories, remarkable in both beauty and originality. But above all, what truly sets Solloshi apart is his ability to envision and craft unconventional designs—reimagining, and in many ways, reinventing the wheel. Thus was born the Rotary Humidor — a sophisticated piece unlike any other, destined to draw attention and spark conversation wherever it is placed — be it a luxury office, a boardroom, or a private lounge at home. This circular humidor measures half a meter in diameter and weighs approximately 12 kilograms, crafted from an aluminum-titanium alloy. It holds a place of honor for 12 cigars, each stored in its own dedicated NACO-coated tube. These tubes are arranged around the rotary humidor and connected to a professional humidity system by the German makers Wempe. Adding to its unique allure, beyond the diamond inlays on its top, the humidor elegantly rotates around its axis, mimicking the spin of a roulette wheel. This playful element lets you select a cigar in style — simply stop the rotation on a chosen tube and reveal which cigar fate has assigned you. The humidor is produced in a limited edition of just 35 pieces. Bottom line: Watch the wheel spin… and settle on a perfectly preserved cigar. Price: €30,000
