S.T. Dupont and Fender Launch a Bold Collection for Cigar and Music Aficionados
A striking collaboration between luxury maison S.T. Dupont and iconic guitar maker Fender has resulted in a distinctive collection of accessories—primarily for cigar enthusiasts—infused with the spirit of rock ‘n’ roll.
Created to celebrate the opening of Fender’s new flagship store in Tokyo, the collection also draws inspiration from traditional Japanese culture—most notably Kintsugi, the ancient art of repairing ceramics with lacquer and gold powder. This influence is reflected in the refined finishes and gold-accented detailing across the pieces.
The collection is divided into two main series, each paying tribute to one of Fender’s most legendary guitars. The “Black & Golden” series is dedicated to the Stratocaster®, while the “Blue & Golden” series honors the Mustang®. Both feature S.T. Dupont’s iconic Ligne 2 lighter, reimagined with design cues inspired by the guitar’s body, neck, and strings. The Blue & Golden series also includes a cigar cutter and an ashtray.
In addition, the collection introduces the Access line, featuring three lighter models—Biggy, Slimmy, and Twiggy—each adorned with the silhouette of a Stratocaster® set against a polished black lacquer finish.
For music connoisseurs, the collaboration goes even further: it also includes a unique instrument—the S.T. Dupont Stratocaster® Made in Japan Limited Edition. Its most intriguing feature is a hidden compartment, designed to house a Fender Ligne 2 lighter.
