This yacht was designed for the Greek billionaire Dakis Joannou, known for being an avid art collector. The prominent design element of the yacht is the geometric shapes in shades of yellow, purple, and blue on its outer hull, painted by Jeff Koons, one of the well-known and successful contemporary artists in the world. Koons’ design is inspired by the paintings of Roy Lichtenstein, a Jewish-American painter and sculptor, and one of the founders of the pop art movement. Beyond this artistic style, the inspiration for the chosen exterior design is the technique of dazzle camouflage, used by the British Navy during World War I.
Regarding the maritime functionality of the yacht, ‘Koons’ collaborated with the Italian yacht designer Ivana Porfiri, who contributed her knowledge and experience in planning naval vessels. In the construction, GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) is extensively used, while the interior spaces feature white Corian flooring (a synthetic material combining aluminum with acrylic polymer) and white paintings on the walls and ceiling. Touches of color are introduced through the furniture and artworks that adorn the yacht, including the bedrooms.

The yacht, which measures approximately 35 meters in length, is designed to accommodate up to ten guests and five crew members. It features three decks:
The lower deck includes guest sleeping quarters with two twin cabins, a VIP cabin, and an additional, smaller cabin.
The middle deck features a spacious relaxation area with wide trampoline netting, creating a sense of being surrounded by water through full-height windows. Additionally, this deck includes service areas and the captain’s cabin.
The upper deck is reserved exclusively for the yacht owner and includes, among other amenities, his private office.
The design also incorporates features such as a retractable sunroof and large windows to enhance the feeling of being immersed in the marine environment.
