Funky Blue and Flying High: The Heritage Tourbillon by H. Moser & Cie
H. Moser & Cie, the renowned Swiss watchmaker from Schaffhausen, continues to blend heritage with innovation. Their latest release, the Heritage Tourbillon, stands out with the brand’s signature Funky Blue dial—a vibrant color now deeply associated with Moser’s identity.
The 42mm case houses an automatic flying tourbillon, visible through an open section at the lower part of the dial. Crafted from polished steel, the tourbillon rotates gracefully, highlighting Moser’s technical mastery.
To enhance legibility, the watch features 3D hour markers made of Globolight®. This modern ceramic-based material absorbs light and glows for hours in the dark. As a result, the dial remains both elegant and easy to read—even at night.
Another standout detail is the strap, made from kudu leather. The kudu is a wild African antelope, and its hide provides soft, durable leather with a natural, rugged texture. This adds an earthy character to the otherwise refined design.
Altogether, the Heritage Tourbillon combines classic elements with bold materials. It’s a watch that speaks to tradition, yet feels refreshingly modern.
