The Blastolene Special was crafted by Randy Grubb, a builder of unique cars, to special order. It is indeed a one-of-a-kind creation. Its appearance resembles that of a Formula 1 car from the early racing era, but the central feature is the engine—a massive Continental engine sourced from a Sherman tank. With 800 horsepower and 212 kg-m of torque, it’s necessary to move a vehicle weighing over four tons. Later, the engine was upgraded to deliver 1,600 horsepower and 410 kg-m of torque.
