The German company Kaweco, founded in 1883, manufactures luxury pens using processes that blend tradition and innovation. One of its leading pen collections is the Sport series, first launched in 1935. Since then, it has undergone changes, but the original design of the pens has largely been preserved. The company is now releasing a sterling silver fountain pen in this series with a natural finish, which is essentially a non-finish, allowing the development of a patina (a greenish compound that results from corrosion, appearing on metal surfaces over time), which is considered an aesthetic addition and a symbol of status. The pen, with relatively modest dimensions, features a 14-carat pure gold nib with rhodium plating and white silver. Price: approximately 1,900 Euros.
