Stroker Workshop in Dallas, Texas, was founded in 1996 and is still managed by Rick Fairless, a mechanical genius and creative artist. Rick’s life revolves around custom motorcycles, and his family works in the business, which includes a workshop, museum, diner, and grill. Rick is a sort of “aging flower child,” looking as if he hasn’t cut his hair since the ’60s—with a mane of graying hair and wearing a psychedelic jumpsuit from those days. This is the style of the workshop and the design philosophy that dominates his creations, such as the kaleidoscope chopper pictured. The psychedelic paint covers every inch of the motorcycle, including the frame tubes and the hidden parts of the fuel tank. The rest of the bike is meticulously finished. The price: $20,900.
