The Montblanc 1858 collection is heavily inspired by watches produced in the 1920s and 1930s by Minerva, a brand acquired by Montblanc in 2007. Minerva watches were used in military settings and expeditions, reflecting the spirit of exploration. Thus, the themes of mountain exploration and the modern trend of returning to nature are expressed in the design of this timepiece.
The 42mm case is crafted from satin-finished bronze, with a special engraving on the back. The dial, in shades of black and beige, aligns with vintage trends while also emphasizing a connection to nature. On the chronograph, a prominent tachymeter scale allows the wearer to measure the distance to an event they see or hear. The watch features a mechanical automatic movement, powered by the Caliber 25.12.
Price: $6,000.
