Design and Movement: The Pequignet Royale Paris
Pequignet is a French haute horlogerie manufacture, active since 1973, renowned for creating timepieces that combine a classical French aesthetic with complex in-house movements, all developed and produced under its own roof.
The model presented here, the Royale Paris, measures 39.5 mm in diameter—smaller than other Royale models in the brand’s collection—and is crafted primarily from stainless steel. The silver dial features a power-reserve indicator, a small seconds subdial, and day and date displays shown through a pair of apertures.
The watch is equipped with a double moonphase display, diamond-polished to create a luminous effect and based on an actual photograph of the Moon. The integrated lugs, a defining signature of the Royale line, feature a brushed finish on top with polished sides.
An enhanced power reserve of 96 hours completes the package.
Price: €8,500.
