Greubel Forsey Convexe Balancier 3: The Art of the Three-Bridge Balance
Since its founding in 2004, the Swiss haute horlogerie maison Greubel Forsey has distinguished itself with exceptionally complex timepieces, many crafted largely by hand and released in highly limited editions. The watch shown here—a sports model whose development spanned nearly two decades—perfectly embodies that philosophy.
The dial, housed in a 41.5 mm case, is dominated by three hand-finished bridges—metal plates beneath which the watch’s pivots rotate. These include the barrel bridge, the balance wheel bridge, and a third bridge connected to the small seconds display, which also supports the hour and minute hands.
The watch is crafted from titanium and features a power-reserve indicator on the caseback, offering approximately three days of autonomy. It is available in two versions, blue and black, each limited to 88 pieces.
Price: approximately €168,000.
