The first and the only. Patek Philippe Grandmaster Chime Steel
This is a unique watch created by Patek Philippe specifically for the prestigious “Only Watch” event in Monaco. It is the Grandmaster Chime with the only case made of steel—a material the manufacturer rarely uses, if at all, especially in such a complex and expensive caliber. This caliber was introduced in 2014 to celebrate the brand’s 175th anniversary, and two years later, it became a permanent fixture in the manufacturer’s collection, albeit with a white gold case. This is Patek’s most complex caliber, containing 20 auxiliary mechanisms, including five different striking mechanisms, two of which make their world debut in this singular steel watch. The price: $2.5 million.
