Hispano-Suiza is not a new name in the automotive industry. This century-old Spanish brand disappeared from the scene about fifty years ago. In 2019, it rose from the ashes like a phoenix, this time with an electric supercar equipped with a Formula E powertrain, boasting 1,005 horsepower and accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in less than three seconds. The Carmen is designed in the spirit of the legendary 1938 Dubonnet Xenia model. The car’s body is handcrafted from carbon fiber, with production limited to just 19 units. The manufacturer doesn’t claim to have the sharpest performance car – instead, they focused on nostalgic, emotional design and the highest level of luxury and finish. The price starts at $1.93 million.
