A Robotic Sting: RH Customs’ Bumblebee
The bee we all know and love is famously a Chevrolet Camaro disguised as a Transformer. But India’s RH Customs chose to reimagine the iconic big-screen character from a very different angle. Thinking more along the lines of a motorcycle, the workshop based its creation on a Honda X4 cruiser.
Aside from the original 1,284 cc engine, RH Customs changed virtually everything. A new, wider frame was fabricated to accommodate a chunky rear tire, topped with a snug bobber-style rear cowl. The exhaust system and front fork were replaced, and on both sides of the fuel tank the builders mounted authentic valve covers from a 1972 Chevrolet Camaro SS.
The solo seat features diamond stitching, while at the end of the handlebars, the Transformer’s head itself serves as the front headlight.
The bike is not offered for sale, but its value is estimated at around $20,000.
