Agatha Christie’s Swans
A unique collaboration between German writing instrument manufacturer Waldmann and luxury accessories startup Sekre International has resulted in an exceptional limited-edition pen titled “Dame of Swan Court.” Produced in a series of just 38 pieces, the pen draws inspiration from the works of the legendary mistress of suspense, Agatha Christie, and forms part of a collection honoring the finest British crime writers.
Crafted entirely from 925 sterling silver, the pen bears the engraved signature of the author—who, following her marriage to British archaeologist Max Mallowan, signed her name “Agatha Mallowan.”
The development process for the series spanned over two years and involved approximately 130 stages of design, engineering, and meticulous quality control, carried out by experts across multiple disciplines.
The pen is presented in an elegant case that includes an ink bottle, along with a facsimile of an original Christmas letter written by Christie to a friend—adding a deeply personal and collectible dimension to the piece.
