In the heart of the town of Cognac stands a classical building that carries the legacy of Alexandre Bisquit, who founded his Cognac house in 1819 at the age of just 20.
Deep within the house lies its most precious cellar, traditionally known as the Paradis – the sanctuary where a Cognac producer preserves its rarest and oldest eaux-de-vie. Here, treasures from the house’s history are kept in glass demijohns, carefully organized according to their vintage and origin.
Bisquit Interlude Limited Edition is produced from a carefully selected collection of 20 casks. Production is deliberately restricted: each year, only two casks are drawn from the collection, yielding approximately 1,000 bottles – and no more.
The grapes originate from distinguished vineyards in two of Cognac’s most prestigious crus: Grande Champagne, which accounts for 77% of the blend, and Petite Champagne.
Over the years, Bisquit Cognac has enjoyed a prestigious reputation and has been associated with luxury hospitality and international travel, including service aboard the legendary Concorde.
But ultimately, it is what happens in the glass that defines Interlude.
Its color combines old gold with light amber reflections. The aromatic profile is rich and mature, filled with ripe fruit and notes reminiscent of lemon and orange marmalade.
Layers of vanilla, toasted nuts and fragrant cigar smoke add depth and complexity. The finish is exceptionally long, with a gentle touch of sweetness lingering on the palate.
