The Secret of Francesco: Ferretti Custom Line Sodan
Italian luxury shipyard Ferretti is expanding its Custom Line 120 series with an additional yacht—the eighth in the range. Named Sodan, this striking 126-foot (38.5-meter) motor yacht immediately stands out thanks to its raised wheelhouse, a feature that enhances both presence and function.
The yacht’s sporty exterior—defined by crisp lines and a confident profile—was penned by the studio of Francesco Paszkowski, who also led the interior design. Inside, the emphasis is clear: practicality, smart circulation, and generous social areas built for relaxed, day-to-night living.
Paszkowski, known for high-profile yacht design and for working with materials such as aluminum and fiberglass, has been responsible for many of Italy’s most memorable models over the last few decades—and Sodan fits naturally into that lineage.
Layout and Guest Accommodation
Sodan offers flexible, comfort-first hosting. On the main deck, the owner enjoys a spacious suite paired with a private lounge, creating a true “apartment at sea” feel.
In total, the yacht accommodates up to 10 guests across five well-appointed cabins, including two VIP staterooms—ideal for families, friends, and extended cruising in style.

At the heart of the yacht, the main salon features full-height windows (floor to ceiling) on all sides. The goal is simple: bring in maximum natural light and deliver panoramic sea views that make the interior feel even larger.
