Sailing Like a Fighter Jet
Galaxy of Happiness is a trimaran – a vessel built around three hulls, with two smaller outer hulls supporting the main central structure. But this is no ordinary multihull. At more than 53 meters long, it is a spectacular luxury yacht whose sharply tapered central hull gives it, particularly when viewed from above, a silhouette reminiscent of an F-16 fighter jet.
Built in 2016 by Latitude Yachts in Latvia, Galaxy of Happiness was conceived with efficiency and performance in mind. Its multihull design is claimed to require around 40 percent less energy to achieve comparable speeds than a conventional monohull yacht, while also providing impressive stability and comfort at sea.
The yacht can reach a top speed of approximately 30 knots and cruises comfortably at around 24 knots. Its range exceeds 3,000 nautical miles, giving it the ability to undertake substantial voyages while maintaining its high-performance character.
Inside, the focus shifts from performance to luxury. High-quality finishes, comfortable furnishings, sophisticated entertainment systems and advanced technology create an environment designed for life at sea in considerable style.
Galaxy of Happiness can accommodate up to six guests in spacious, well-appointed cabins, supported by a crew of six responsible for operating the yacht and providing onboard service.
The ownership of Galaxy of Happiness has attracted considerable speculation. The yacht has been linked in media reports to Azerbaijani-born Russian businessman God Nisanov, a major figure in the Russian real-estate industry and a former vice president of the World Jewish Congress. Nisanov left that position in 2022 following sanctions imposed in the aftermath of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Galaxy of Happiness currently sails under the flag of the Cayman Islands.
The yacht has been estimated to be worth around $25 million, with annual running costs potentially reaching approximately $2.5 million. It is not currently listed for sale.
