Like its fixed-roof sibling, the Pagani Huayra Codalunga Speedster proudly celebrates the golden age of classic racing cars. Drawing inspiration from the elegant race machines of the late 1950s and 1960s, it features a low-slung windshield, flowing curves, and a beautifully elongated tail designed to gently guide the airflow around the car.
Above sits a removable hardtop incorporating a transparent polycarbonate section that floods the cabin with natural light. Remove the roof entirely, and an endless expanse of sky opens up overhead, while entry and exit are handled through Pagani’s signature gullwing doors.
The spirit of the 1960s extends into the interior—not through technology, but through atmosphere. Hand-hammered and hand-stitched leather, wood-trimmed steering wheel and gear lever, and bespoke upholstery developed specifically for this car all combine to recreate the graceful racing ambiance of a bygone era.
Beneath the stunning bodywork—and alongside the extensive use of advanced materials such as carbon fiber and titanium—lies a machine that borders on insanity. It begins with an all-new monocoque chassis and continues with a monstrous 6.0-liter Mercedes-AMG V12 engine, built exclusively for Pagani as always. Equipped with twin turbochargers and a healthy dose of madness, it produces 852 horsepower and 1,100 Nm (811 lb-ft) of torque, propelling just 1,270 kg (2,800 lbs)—roughly the weight of a Toyota Yaris—from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 2.8 seconds and on to a top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph).
Power is sent exclusively to the rear wheels through either a seven-speed automated transmission or a seven-speed manual gearbox. Adaptive dampers keep the chassis composed, while Brembo brakes ensure everything remains under control, with massive 410 mm discs and six-piston calipers at the front, and 390 mm discs with four-piston calipers at the rear.
To preserve its exclusivity, eccentricity, and near-unobtainable status, production will be limited to just ten examples worldwide.
