Parker pens are widely recognized and popular around the world, but even this venerable American company, founded in 1888, offers luxurious models. To mark its 135th anniversary, the company launched a special edition of the Duofold fountain pen. The pen is crafted from 21 meticulously hand-assembled parts, adhering to the company’s tradition of excellence, inspired by founder George S. Parker’s philosophy of “always creating a better pen.”
The pen’s relatively large body and cap are made from hard, velvet-black resin, with chrome-finished accents. The nib is crafted from 18-carat gold with rhodium plating, featuring decorative engravings of an Ace from a deck of cards.

The pen’s body features advanced thermographic printing in silver, displaying the Duofold series logo and the company’s founding year, 1888, as well as the 135th anniversary year. And of course, the iconic arrow-shaped clip, synonymous with the Parker brand, is prominently featured.
The pen comes in an elegant gift box that includes a genuine leather pen case, a bottle of black ink, and a special edition booklet. The price is $1,750.
