The special workshop of Dupont, Haute Creation, brings together artists and craftsmen to create utilitarian products that are also masterpieces of art. The workshop focuses on the handmade production of writing instruments and lighters, numbered and made to order. Such are the pens in the Architecture series, dedicated in homage to globally iconic structures, including the Eiffel Tower, Big Ben, and the Statue of Liberty.
The Eiffel Tower pen is made of steel, and in the heart of Paris, it was initially a subject of ridicule due to its design, but over the years, it has become a global icon. The pen features a single silver head in the shape of the tower, with a black lacquer body adorned with delicate silver decorations coated in gold. A bronze base with a patina serves as the pen’s stand.
“Big Ben,” as the large clock tower at the north end of the Palace of Westminster in London is commonly known, is one of the most recognized heritage sites in the world. The pen bearing its name showcases a single silver Big Ben head, with a red lacquer pen body and silver decorations around it coated in gold. Each pen is numbered and is part of a limited edition of 88 units.
The Statue of Liberty is perhaps the most famous structure of all. This lady has been standing since the end of the 19th century at the entrance to the New York Harbor as a symbol of human freedom. The pen dedicated to her features a bronze head of her likeness on the cap, with a green patina like the real statue made of copper. The pen body is in black lacquer with silver decorations. The edition is limited to 88 numbered units.
All these models are offered in two versions – fountain pen and rollerball.
In conclusion: Honor to architecture.
