Where Elegance Meets Sustainability
The SP92 is the second model in the Italian shipyard Sanlorenzo’s Smart Performance series, building on the success of this innovative range. Measuring approximately 28 metres in length, the yacht offers a compelling combination of high-performance sports-yacht capabilities and sophisticated luxury, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and technological innovation.
The exterior, designed by Zuccon International Project, is defined by clean, minimalist lines that highlight both the yacht’s sporting character and its refined elegance. The interior, created by Piero Lissoni, features a distinctive architectural concept arranged across four different levels, generating a remarkable sense of space while strengthening the connection between the interior and the sea.
Expansive windows visually connect the interior with the aft deck, which incorporates a spacious and versatile 45-square-metre beach club.
The yacht is available with three or four guest cabins, depending on the owner’s preferred configuration, including a master suite and two VIP cabins. It can accommodate six to eight guests, in addition to crew quarters for four.
Outdoor spaces include an upper deck, a relaxation area at the bow and a generous aft deck positioned as close as possible to the waterline, creating an immersive connection with the sea.
Sanlorenzo has incorporated composite materials and advanced technologies derived from the aerospace industry into the yacht’s construction. Technically, the SP92 is powered by twin MAN V12 engines producing 2,000 horsepower each, coupled to a waterjet propulsion system. The configuration is designed to deliver maximum efficiency and comfort across a broad range of speeds.
The SP92 reaches a top speed of 38 knots, while its cruising speed is approximately 35 knots. Its distinctive hull geometry has been engineered to reduce hydrodynamic resistance at typical operating speeds, contributing to both performance and cruising comfort.
Numerous components have also been designed to reduce fuel consumption and minimise the yacht’s environmental footprint. Solar panels, for example, provide electricity for many onboard requirements while the yacht is at anchor, reducing dependence on conventional power generation.
According to the shipyard, the SP92’s fuel consumption is approximately 12–13% lower than comparable yachts built using conventional technologies.
