Armani on the Water: Metamorphosis by Admiral Yachts
Where the world of superyachts meets haute couture.
Metamorphosis—Admiral Yachts’ aptly named project from The Italian Sea Group—was born from a collaboration with the legendary fashion house of Giorgio Armani. The result is a 72-meter superyacht that merges a steel hull with an aluminum superstructure, finished with classic teak decks. Sharp, geometric lines are balanced by softer, flowing forms, creating an aesthetic that feels both dynamic and quietly luxurious—an elegant bridge between sea-going engineering and Italian style.
Expansive glass windows blur the boundary between interior and horizon, flooding the living spaces with light and views. Sliding panels add another layer of flexibility, allowing the owner to reconfigure zones depending on mood, occasion, or life on board.
Uncompromising Luxury on Every Deck
Designed to host up to 14 guests with the support of a highly professional crew of around 20, Metamorphosis is built for private, high-comfort cruising. The owner’s suite is a standout, paired with a generous 180-square-meter private deck. Guests are accommodated in six separate suites, ensuring privacy and true superyacht-level hospitality.
Amenities are equally ambitious: a large main-deck pool, a spa with beauty lounge, a beach club, a helipad, and underwater lighting for dramatic evenings at anchor. Advanced climate control and onboard Wi-Fi complete the experience—modern necessities wrapped in Armani-level refinement.
Performance and Advanced Engineering
Beyond its design statement, Metamorphosis is engineered for serious range. With an estimated cruising capability of over 5,500 nautical miles, the yacht is positioned for transatlantic passages—even in demanding sea conditions. An Ice Class hull adds another layer of versatility, enabling safer travel through regions where sea ice may be present.
Launch Timeline and Estimated Value
The yacht’s launch is scheduled for April 2025, following owner-requested upgrades. The estimated value is €105 million.
