TAG Heuer Carrera Extreme Sport Chronograph Tourbillon x Senna
TAG Heuer, the watchmaker with deep roots in the world of motorsport, partnered with legendary Brazilian Formula 1 driver Ayrton Senna from 1988 until his tragic death at the San Marino Grand Prix in 1994.
To mark the 30th anniversary of Senna’s passing—and alongside the release of a new Netflix series chronicling his life—the brand unveiled a special-edition chronograph powered by a tourbillon movement.
Housed in a 44 mm case, the watch draws inspiration from Senna’s remarkable racing career, incorporating the colors of the Brazilian flag and design elements closely associated with the iconic driver.
The tachymeter scale is calibrated to 400 km/h, a tribute to the extreme speeds of Formula 1 racing, while the carbon-fiber details echo the materials used in modern race cars. The open-worked black bridges on the dial evoke the asphalt surfaces of the world’s most famous circuits.
The limited edition was launched with a retail price of approximately €39,500.
